Enchanting Kids

Another classic quote I heard today. This one from the same eight year old. As he was feeling better and about to leave support we asked him "Where do you live?" (He's new to our school).

Again, with the same serious look and bunches of energy he responded:

"Umm, in a red house on the earth!"

As I have stated, I work with children in behavioral and emotional crisis. Today in my support room I encountered an eitght year old who was referred for support due to excessive noise and disruption in class. He was observed to bang his head and kick himself - yes kick- in the head repeatedly!

When he arrived I let him know how unsafe and unfriendly that behavior was to his head!

With the most sincere and innocent look on his face he turned to me and asked

His Response: "What, if I bang my head then my brian will have a heart attack?"
